Commercial properties across Scotland set to go under the hammer

SHEPHERD Chartered Surveyors has announced its latest commercial property auction will feature 30 properties and development land located across Scotland.

The lots will go under the hammer in a live-streamed auction on Thursday 18th April at 2.30pm. All properties are open to remote bidding online, on the phone and by proxy.

Amongst the lots for sale is a church in Kilbarchan, Renfrewshire. With full planning approval and building warrant in place for 17 flats, this is an ‘oven-ready’ redevelopment opportunity available at a guide price of £675,000.

Acting on behalf of Police Scotland, the auction features former police stations in Lairg and Peterhead in the north of Scotland. Both buildings are said to be suited to a variety of uses subject to planning with guide prices of £145,000 and £65,000 respectively.

The auction also features two office premises in Glasgow city centre. Suite 6.1 Atlantic Chambers is available at a guide price of £100,000 and Unit 2, The Piazza at 95 Morrison Street at a guide price of £200,000.

Being sold on behalf of NHS Ayrshire & Arran, in Irvine, Ayrshire the auction features a former supported living unit which could be converted to residential use subject to planning. The property has a guide price of £165,000.

And acting on behalf of Forestry & Land Scotland, the auction features three areas of surplus land, two plots in Crianlarich, Stirlingshire both at guide prices of £5,000, and further north in Invergarry at a guide price of £35,000.

And for anyone seeking a trading business, Ramage’s Bar in Kilbirnie, Ayrshire might be of interest. This opportunity includes a flat above which could be leased or provide owner’s accommodation. This has a guide price of £120,000.

In Boddam, Aberdeenshire is a business centre with potential for alternative use subject to planning at a guide price of £80,000.
