HAMILTON-headquartered Procast Group enjoyed a double triumph at the Energy Efficiency Awards, winning Regional Insulation & Fabric Installer and Contractor of the Year, while apprentice electrician Cameron Sleith was named Apprentice of the Year.
The UK-wide awards scheme recognises organisations and individuals making a significant contribution to improving energy efficiency, reducing carbon emissions, and raising standards across the built environment sector.
Procast said its Regional Insulation & Fabric Installer and Contractor of the Year win recognises the firm’s commitment to delivering ‘high-quality insulation and energy-efficiency improvements, exceptional customer service and outstanding workmanship’ while helping improve the energy performance of homes and buildings.
Cameron Sleith was crowned Apprentice of the Year on the day he officially completed his four-year apprenticeship with the company. Procast added that the achievement reflects his dedication throughout his training journey and the group’s commitment to developing the next generation of skilled professionals.
Kirstie Adams, support services director at Procast Group, said, “The Energy Efficiency Awards were a fantastic celebration of the people and organisations driving progress across the sector, and we are incredibly proud to have received Regional Insulation & Fabric Installer and Contractor of the Year. These awards reflect the hard work, expertise and dedication shown by our teams every day as they continue delivering high-quality retrofit and energy-efficiency projects across the UK.
“To see Cameron recognised as Apprentice of the Year on the same day he completed his apprenticeship made the occasion even more special and his win was thoroughly well deserved. Investing in people is central to everything we do at Procast Group and Cameron’s success highlights the value apprentices bring to our business and the wider industry.”
