THE seafront Harbour Green development in Portobello, near Edinburgh, has been earning plaudits with a little help from REHAU TOTAL70 PVC-U windows in anthracite grey.
More than 300 windows and 100 doors in the luxury apartments were fabricated and installed by Motherwell-based commercial specialists Walker Profiles for MNM Developments.
The project reached the final in the Apartment Development of the Year category at the Scottish Home Awards.
Many residents have been treated to stunning views across the Firth of Forth thanks to floor to ceiling windows.
On one side of the four-storey development, Walker Profiles also provided French doors in REHAU TOTAL70, which open out onto balconies, and faceted curved corner windows.
The REHAU windows were specified by architects Hackland and Dore who wanted to use a high quality PVC-U window system which could offer security and energy efficiency benefits and which could also be foiled in grey to contrast with the building’s white rendered exterior.
