A newly relaunched Scottish property management company is targeting 4,000 additional homes under management within the next two years, as it looks to ramp up expansion plans.
Glasgow headquartered ninetyOne, which operates predominantly across Scotland’s central belt, revealed it is positioning itself for growth in the new build sector with ambitions to extend its footprint into the Highlands and other emerging markets. The move follows a £50,000 rebrand from the business’ original identity of 91BC Property Services Ltd, which was founded in 2015.
The strategy is being driven by director of operations Francesco Mele, appointed in 2025. The company’s growth will be guided by a focus on new and high-end developments.
Francesco said, “There is a clear opportunity in the market for a business that can grow without compromising on standards. Too often, in any sector, scale comes at the expense of service. Our ambition is to prove that you can do both by putting the right operational structure, people and systems in place from the outset.
“We’re starting in the central belt, where we already have a strong presence, but the long-term opportunity is national. That includes expansion into areas like the Highlands, where new development is increasing and expectations around management are rightly high.
“We’ve come through that start-up phase where you’re proving the model and building the foundations. This is the next stage for us. We’re ambitious and we won’t shy away from that. The focus now is on scaling the business in a way that’s controlled, consistent and sustainable.
“There’s a real opportunity to grow our footprint across Scotland, but to do that properly you need the right structure behind it. That’s what we’ve been building and now it’s about delivering.”
Alongside expansion, the business is investing in strengthening its operational model. This includes implementing emerging technologies to improve how data is used to plan resourcing, identify trends in demand and enhance quality assurance across developments.
Francesco added, “We’re making things clearer, faster and more accountable so homeowners understand what’s happening, issues are dealt with properly and problems are resolved before they escalate. That means better managed homes, fewer surprises on cost and a level of service people can rely on.”
