TURNER & Townsend has announced changes to its UK leadership as the business prepares for growth.

Patricia Moore becomes MD for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA); Andy Scott will now lead both infrastructure and defence in an expanded remit as MD for the two areas of the business; and James Corrigan is moving to the United States to step into the role of MD for the USA.

Alongside her UK MD role, Moore will take on a new position of MD for EMEA, working to cement Turner & Townsend’s position as the ‘premier programme partner’ across real estate, infrastructure, and energy and natural resources in the region.

Andy Scott’s existing role as MD for defence will expand to also assume responsibility for the business’ infrastructure division. Since joining Turner & Townsend in 2011 as a senior project manager, Scott has managed teams across major schemes including Heathrow, Hinckley Point C and Edinburgh Trams.

James Corrigan is moving to the US after 20 years advising clients across infrastructure programmes in the UK.  He joined Turner & Townsend on a summer placement in 2005 and has since led the business’ programme advisory team, worked on programmes such as HS2 and Crossrail and, most recently, spearheaded Turner & Townsend’s UK infrastructure business.

These changes come as Turner & Townsend begins its business plan to 2030, building on growth over recent years. Global turnover has increased from $950 million in 2020 to $7.43 billion – a 683% rise.  This has been accelerated by the company’s strategic partnership with CBRE Group Inc.

Patricia Moore said, “Our business goes from strength to strength and these changes both reflect our increased scale across the globe and set us up for the next phase of growth.  We are in a strong position in the UK, having evolved our major programmes capability and footprint over several years. Across our work, clients are navigating a complex and uncertain environment.  Our UK, EMEA-wide and global footprint means that we have a deep understanding of the market so we can manage risk and keep investments on track.

“As James heads across the Atlantic, I’d like to thank him for his exceptional contribution to our UK business and our work in infrastructure.  Building on James’ excellent work, Andy will bring a wealth of experience to his new position – driving forward major programmes across two areas which are essential to national renewal: infrastructure and defence.”
