MILLER Homes Scotland West has acquired a 7.5-acre site in Hamilton, ahead of the delivery of 64 new homes.

The Maplebrook development will follow on from the successful Highstonehall Park and Highstonehall sites, both of which completed last year. The project will comprise a mix of three, four and five-bedroom homes in a choice of terraced, semi-detached and detached styles.

Andrew McArthur, regional operations director for Miller Homes Scotland West, said, “The acquisition of Maplebrook further strengthens our strategic land position in the west of Scotland and reinforces our long-term commitment to sustainable growth in the region. Securing high-quality development sites such as Maplebrook remains central to our business model, and this latest purchase will enable us to continue delivering the new communities that South Lanarkshire requires.

“As we mark 25 years of building in the area, we are delighted to be bringing forward our next development in Hamilton. With demand for energy-efficient family housing remaining strong, we will maintain our focus on identifying and investing in land opportunities that support the area’s expansion and align with our regional growth strategy.”

Maplebrook is due to launch this summer, with a show home opening in early autumn and first properties scheduled for completion in November.
