KEEPMOAT is to deliver 80 affordable homes off Foxton Drive in Glenrothes in partnership with Kingdom Housing Association.
The affordable housing development, which was granted full planning permission by Fife Council in September, will deliver a range of two, three, and four-bedroom homes and offer a mix of houses, bungalows, and apartments.
The acquisition of the vacant land by Kingdom Housing Association will see Keepmoat invest £18.5 million into creating new homes on behalf of the housing association, which will then offer these new homes for social rent and mid-market rent.
Tim Metcalfe, regional MD at Keepmoat Scotland, said, “We’re excited to announce Kingdom Housing Association as our partner to create a fully affordable development in Fife, which represents a significant investment in the area. At Keepmoat, we’re committed to working with a range of partners to deliver fantastic schemes together with high-quality new homes. We’re looking forward to progressing the approved plans and delivering 80 new homes to benefit the local community.”
Kingdom Housing Association‘s development and sustainability director, Tricia Hill, added, “We are delighted to be working with Keepmoat to deliver these much-needed new affordable homes in Glenrothes. The development will deliver a mix of new family housing and flats, supporting the response to the housing emergency and Kingdom’s mission to deliver more than a home.”
