MILLER Homes Scotland West has acquired a 33-hectare brownfield site at the former Clydesdale Steelworks in Bellshill.
The Hawthorn Green residential project forms part of a wider regeneration initiative that will deliver more than 430 new homes.
Phase 1, Hawthorn Green will comprise 97 three, four and five-bedroom semi-detached and detached homes. The development marks Miller’s third project in North Lanarkshire in recent years.
Initial site preparation will start this month, with construction scheduled to begin next year. The first home completions are expected in early 2027.
