MKM Building Supplies (MKM) is inviting young artists from across the UK to get creative as it launches its Christmas card competition for the fourth consecutive year.
Rachel Constable, head of ESG at MKM, said, “Our Christmas Card Competition is such a joy to run. Every year, the talent and imagination of the entries blows us away. From paint and glitter to digital masterpieces. It’s a brilliant opportunity for young people to show off their creativity, and we can’t wait to see what comes in for 2025.”
Who Can Enter:
The competition is open to anyone in the UK aged 12 or under. Age categories will be confirmed based on the entries received, ensuring a fair and balanced competition for all age groups.
This year, entries will be grouped as follows:
- Category 1: Ages 0–3
- Category 2: Ages 4–6
- Category 3: Ages 7–9
- Category 4: Ages 10–12
All types of artwork are welcome – hand-drawn, painted, or digital. Children are also encouraged (but not required) to include festive nods to MKM, such as bricks, tools, timber, or even Bricky the MKM mascot.
Prizes:
Each category winner will receive a £50 Amazon voucher.
One overall winner will receive:
- A 12V JCB Kids Ride-on Digger
- A £50 Amazon voucher
- Their design featured on MKM’s 2025 Christmas card, printed and distributed across the UK
- A £100 art or school supplies voucher for their class
Entry Requirements:
- Designs must be A4-sized and submitted in JPEG or PDF format
- Entries can be hand-drawn or digital
- Must include: artist’s name, age (as of 1 December 2025), date of birth, and a parent/guardian’s contact details (address, email, and phone number)
Deadline for Entries:
All submissions must be received by 9am on Monday 17th November 2025

Entries should be submitted via MKM’s online form, which can be accessed here.
Entries will be judged anonymously by a panel of MKM staff, with designs assessed on creativity, originality, and festive cheer.
