PERI employees across the UK back local foodbanks initiative

PERI employees with foodbank donations

EMPLOYEES at formwork and scaffolding provider PERI’s UK head office have been supporting their local community by donating essential items to the Rugby Foodbank.

Over the past few weeks, collection baskets at the office have been filled with items ranging from pasta and tinned goods to tea bags and toiletries.

Supporting local foodbanks across its UK offices is just one of the ways PERI is giving back to the community this year – an initiative driven by employee feedback on the causes they most wanted to support.

Tracy Armstrong, head of marketing at PERI UK, said, “In addition to fundraising events for specific charities, one of the most common suggestions from our employees was to support local communities by establishing foodbank collection points. We’re proud to now have donation stations at all five of our UK offices. The work being done by Rugby Foodbank is truly inspiring, and we’re  privileged to support their efforts in helping those in need.”

Further initiatives in the pipeline designed to increase PERI’s community impact include organised charity hikes.
