KIRKWOOD Homes has been shortlisted four times across three categories at the Scottish Home Awards 2025.
The housebuilder is in the running for Housing Development of the Year (Large private sale) for its sold-out Balgillo Heights development in Broughty Ferry, and Housing Development of the Year (Small private sale) for its sold-out Forgan Grange development in Drumoig. It is also shortlisted for Show Home of the Year for both its five-bedroom Gullane and five-bedroom Lomond show homes.
The 158m² detached Lomond show home is the latest addition to Kirkwood’s suite of show homes and launched in early 2025 at The Paddocks development in Colinsburgh, Fife. The Gullane show home, located at the Inchmarlo development in Banchory, Aberdeenshire, features 297m² of internal floor space, making it one of the largest Kirkwood show homes to date.
The Scottish Home Awards is Scotland’s largest independent awards initiative for the housing sector aiming to shine a spotlight on the nation’s top housebuilders and recognise their significant contributions to the industry.
The winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony on Thursday, June 19 (2025) at the Doubletree by Hilton in Glasgow.
Colin Crombie, MD of Kirkwood Homes, said, “It’s a fantastic honour to be named a finalist four times within three categories at the Scottish Home Awards – a real testament to the passion, skill and hard work of our entire team. Each of these developments and showhomes represents our commitment to thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship and creating places our customers are proud to call home. We’re incredibly proud to see that dedication recognised on such a respected national stage.”
