PROCAST Group has announced it has increased its presence across Scotland following the launch of a new base in Dumfries.

The Hamilton-headquartered principal contractor has established a new £30,000 warehouse and office in Dumfries and Galloway. Located in the Maxwelltown Industrial Estate, the facility is run by project manager Scott Kane, alongside eight other contractors.

Strategically placed on the A75 Dumfries bypass, Procast said the move allows it to work in the local area, the Borders, and into England. The business is currently working with the likes of Loreburn Housing Association, with projects taking place in Annan, Castle Douglas, and Stranraer.

The group also operates a base in Aberdeen, with plans for further expansion in Angus afoot.

Derek Innes, owner and MD, said, “Having a base in the south of Scotland is imperative to business growth and we are delighted to now be set up in the community of Dumfries. We hope to advance projects in the area, working with local people with aims to expand further across the UK into England. Scott and the team are doing a magnificent job at the new base as we increase our reach to communities that need our support most.”
