MUIR Timber Systems has completed the delivery of timber kits for 24 affordable homes in Plean on behalf of Stirling Council.
The firm is also responsible for the installation of timber kits on site, as part of an ongoing £420,000 contract with Carmichael Homes.
The project marks the latest milestone in the ongoing partnership between Muir Timber Systems and Glasgow-based homebuilder Carmichael Homes, with it building on the successful 2024 collaboration at the former Rosslynlee Hospital site in Penicuik.
Gary Gray, general manager of Muir Timber Systems, said, “It’s been fantastic to continue our partnership with Carmichael Homes on another significant housing project, bringing much-needed, high-quality homes to Stirlingshire. Our high-quality, sustainably sourced timber kits provide an efficient and environmentally responsible solution for modern homebuilding.
“This project reflects our shared commitment to creating well-designed, energy-efficient homes that benefit both residents and the wider community.”
Scott Carmichael, MD of Carmichael Homes, added, “We’re delighted to continue our collaboration with Muir Timber Systems on this important affordable housing project in Plean. Their commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation has been invaluable as we work together to deliver homes that truly meet the needs of the community.”
