FIFE Trusted Trader is marking 15 years of operation with the initiative now featuring over 100 businesses.
Backed by Fife Council and administered through Trading Standards, all member businesses are vetted before joining the scheme. Established to help protect consumers from rogue traders and poor-quality workmanship, the scheme also provides a platform for businesses to demonstrate their commitment to quality, transparency and customer care.
Since its launch in 2011, Fife Trusted Trader has grown to include businesses from a wide range of sectors – including home improvements, construction, plumbing, electrical services, landscaping, and other trades. The scheme has generated thousands of customer reviews and helped residents identify businesses they can trust, while member businesses have benefited from increased visibility, credibility, and customer confidence.
Today, the scheme includes more than 100 approved businesses and has received more than 11,000 customers reviews since its launch.
