International law firm agrees lease on ‘Glasgow’s most sustainable office building’

LAW firm Pinsent Masons has agreed to lease more than 31,000 sq ft of Grade A office space in the Aurora building at 120 Bothwell Street, Glasgow.

Pinsent Masons will join other tenants including PwC, News UK and energy company SSE. On-site amenities at Aurora include a 4,000 sq ft rooftop terrace, reception with flexible meeting spaces, a new café space, auditorium facilities, town hall meeting space, a podcast studio, wellness area and fitness studio, and 200 cycle racks with changing facilities and showers.

Aurora’s environmental credentials including net zero carbon in operation and a focus on a biophilic design are said to help set the building apart as Glasgow’s ‘most sustainable office’.

Pinsent Masons’ 300-plus lawyers and support staff will be located on the first and fourth floors of the building after agreeing a 10-year lease with an option to extend for a further five years.

Pinsent Masons and Orion have mutually agreed to terminate the lease agreement for Lucent, 50 Bothwell Street, Glasgow.
