PERI has expressed its delight after winning the Product of the Year category at the Scaffolding Excellence Awards for its PERI UP Cladding system.
The system was launched in the UK earlier this year for use not only as a protective enclosure but also for temporary roofing structures. There is also potential for use as hoarding around building sites.
PERI UP Cladding is designed to ensure the safety of scaffolders, building contractors, and the public. It integrates with PERI UP scaffolds, making it ‘ideal’ for construction projects, public access for rail schemes, as well as public events.
PERI revealed the risk of dust pollution, falling debris and tools is significantly reduced. The system also helps to contain and lower noise levels.
The Scaffolding Excellence Awards were held following Scaffex24, the NASC’s inaugural conference and exhibition in Belfast. PERI had one of the event’s largest exhibits, covering 24 square meters. The interactive stand allowed visitors to walk onto a custom-designed viewing deck and around the scaffolding to explore the products up close.
Alongside its award-winning cladding system, PERI’s display featured other elements of its core offering, such as PERI UP Flex, Stair 75, PERI UP Public, and its heavy-duty propping.
