Tillicoultry Quarries strengthens board with four new directors

TILLICOULTRY Quarries has appointed four new directors to its board in a move described as marking a ‘significant step’ in positioning the business for future success.

Sophia Westerhuis Marshall, previously HR manager, has become a director after eight years with the company. Phil Kerr, formerly production manager for sand and gravel, steps up as director after a 20-year career with Tillicoultry Quarries and 55 years of experience in the wider industry. Robert Hamilton, previously production manager for hard rock, becomes director following six years with the company, while Jim Johnston, who was production manager for concrete and cement, has been appointed director after three years of service.

Tillicoultry Quarries added that the new directors have demonstrated leadership in their respective roles, with the individual appointments based on their ‘unique contributions to the business and their proven ability to drive the company forward’.
