TEN Taylor Wimpey site managers from its developments across Scotland are celebrating after each winning an award at the NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Awards.
Now in its 44th year, the Pride in the Job Quality Awards recognise the work of site managers, with accolades awarded following a rigorous judging process – with thousands of inspections undertaken to determine this year’s 449 winners.
Taylor Wimpey’s 10 winners in Scotland puts them in the top 5% of UK site managers, with the winners being David McClure, Castle Gate, Maidenhill; Scott McCreadie, Duncarnock, Barrhead; David Cunningham, Amble Court, East Kilbride; David Morrison, Benthall Farm, East Kilbride; Sean McKeever, Dargavel Village, Bishopton; Stuart Gillespie, Oakwood View, Hamilton; Stuart Rowan Oakwood Grove, Hamilton; Gavin Bianchi; Sinclair Gardens, Roslin; Mitchell Davies, Spencer Fields, Inverkeithing; and James Canning, Hawthorn Gardens, South Queensferry.
Each of the award-winning site managers will progress to the Scottish regional awards final later this year to determine who is the best of the best in Scotland. Each site manager is assessed across six key areas of consistency, attention to detail, leadership, interpretation of drawings and specifications, technical expertise, and health and safety.
Brian Henderson, production director for Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, commented, “Achieving and maintaining the highest levels of quality and customer service is very important to our business, and we are pleased to receive this independent industry recognition. These individual awards are tough to achieve and we’re very proud that we have some of the best site managers working for our business in Scotland. Their success in these awards demonstrates our drive to deliver the highest quality, service and commitment to our customers.”
