THE seventh annual Meet the Buyer North event is to be held on September 11 at The Music Halls in Aberdeen from 10am until 3:30pm.
Bringing together buyers and suppliers for the largest free procurement event in the north of Scotland, some 446 businesses and organisations are set to take part. Amongst these include Balfour Beatty, BAM Nuttall, Clark Contracts, hub North Scotland, and Vattenfall.
Alongside networking opportunities, delegates can gain top tendering tips by attending speaker sessions in the keynote arena, where specialists from Scottish Government, Aberdeenshire Council and SDP, will be sharing their advice.
Moray Council’s chair of the economic development and infrastructure services committee, councillor Marc Macrae, said, “Every year this is an unmissable opportunity for small and medium sized businesses in Moray to introduce their products and services to Scottish local authorities, government agencies, framework providers, and larger contractors. I’d encourage any business owner in Moray thinking about heading to the event this year to book their place and find out how they can link into the supplier network both in Moray Council and more widely in the north east of Scotland.”
