EDINBURGH-based 56three Architects has announced the promotion of Amy Wootton to the role of head of interiors.
Amy, who joined the practice as an architect in 2018, has been integral to many successful interior-led projects across a range of sectors, including the recent repurposing of South Bridge in Edinburgh to form ‘pioneering’ accommodation for postgraduate students.
In her new role, Amy will lead the interior design team, overseeing projects and shaping the strategic direction of the team whilst fostering creative growth.
Amy has a particular passion for the adaptive re-use of existing buildings, and she is also committed to incorporating sustainable practices into her work.
“We’re thrilled to see Amy take on this leadership role,” said Richard Howl, director at 56three Architects. “Her creativity, commitment, and leadership have been central to recent successes, and we are excited to see our interior workload grow further.”
