THE Springfield Group has announced two senior promotions, with Andrew Curran appointed to MD (Central) covering Springfield Properties, Dawn Homes, Walker Group and Mactaggart & Mickel Homes; and Kieran Graham becoming MD of Tulloch Homes.

Andrew Curran, who has nearly 10 years of experience with Springfield Properties, steps up from regional operations director for Central (private) as well 11 years’ experience with UK-wide builders including McCarthy Stone and Persimmon.

Meanwhile, Kieran Graham, former commercial director for Tulloch Homes, has extensive experience in the housebuilding sector in the Highlands. He has previously worked for Stewart Milne Group in Aberdeen and Robertson Homes in Inverness, prior to joining Tulloch in 2020.

The promotions are designed to bolster the Springfield Group’s management structure and support acceleration of its growth strategy, with the new MDs responsible for overseeing all disciplines and operations for their respective divisions.

Andrew Curran initially joined Springfield Properties in 2011 as a quantity surveyor and has risen through the ranks. The MD (Central) role will see him lead on all disciplines across the Springfield Properties, Dawn Homes, Walker Group and Mactaggart & Mickel Homes brands, encompassing developments from Blairgowrie to Doonfoot. This includes delivering the new Durieshill development in Stirling, which has seen Springfield and Barratt Developments enter a partnership to deliver the multi-million-pound project for 3,000 private and affordable homes, alongside amenities such as schools, shops, and business opportunities.

Andrew said, “Training and progression is highly valued at Springfield. I started my career many years ago as a quantity surveyor and my promotion to managing director (Central) is testament to the company’s commitment to employee development and excellence. I’m proud of the high specification we offer our customers across all of the brands within the group combined with our focus on customer service, which ensures that we can deliver quality homes in key communities across Scotland. I’m excited to work closely with my colleagues to ensure Springfield’s success for many more years to come.”

Kieran Graham steps into the new role as the Highland housebuilder approaches 100 years of business. Taking the reins from Sandy Grant, who recently retired as MD after 21 years with the business, Kieran will oversee all live sites while leading the delivery of upcoming developments such as Spey Green in Newtonmore and Parks View in Inverness.

Kieran said, “Tulloch Homes has a long-standing legacy as the largest housebuilder across Inverness and the Highlands. It is widely recognised for its commitment to high quality, energy efficient homes and, most importantly, the loyalty of our customers. Involving the communities in the areas where we build is essential to our success.

“Engaging local voices and businesses ensures our developments are reflective of their needs and create spaces that truly feel like home. With many upcoming community events in the calendar, I’m looking forward to speaking to future customers as we continue to deliver high quality homes across the north of Scotland.”

Springfield Group chief executive Innes Smith added, “It’s an exciting time across the Springfield Group with many new developments in the pipeline such as the recently approved Conon Bridge development, delivered in partnership with the Highland Council, to support the Cromarty Firth Green Freeport. There’s also the long awaited Durieshill development which we’ve collaborated with Barratt on to accelerate its delivery.

“These appointments highlight the great pride we take in training and developing our highly skilled workforce. We’ve been impressed with both Kieran and Andrews’ knowledge and dedication to the housebuilding industry, and I have no doubt their expertise will be invaluable as we continue to drive growth and innovation across the Springfield Group.”
