NORTH Sea Midstream Partners (NSMP) has moved into the ‘most environmentally-friendly’ office building in Aberdeen.

The Marischal Square building comprises 122,000 sq ft over six floors and has the best BREEAM and EPC rating of any office building in the city, with sustainability features and technology embedded throughout.

NSMP, which has bases in London and Norway, owns nearly 600km of gas pipelines in the North Sea capable of supplying up to a quarter of UK gas demand. The organisation employs more than 1,000 people at its sites at St Fergus, Teesside, and in Norway.

Aberdeen City Council co-leader councillor Christian Allard said, “We are delighted that NSMP, a company which is renowned for its high standards as well as being a critical link in the energy supply chain, has relocated its Aberdeen office to Marischal Square.

“The development provides high quality office space with strong environmental credentials and is helping to regenerate the east end of the city centre.”

NSMP joins other prestigious businesses at the office, hotel, and restaurant complex – including Wallace Whittle, CBRE, Resident X, Royal Bank of Scotland, Chevron UK, KPMG, EY, Tenaris, Aberdeen Journals, NSTA, NESPF, Maggie’s Grill, Mackie’s, All Bar One, Costa, Tony Macaroni, and Marriott International.

Sayma Cox, NSMP CEO, said, “Investing in our new flagship home at Marischal Square will provide a collaborative space for our team, customers, and partners as we continue to provide the critical infrastructure that supports the UK’s energy security and bring forward energy transition projects.

“We are committed to supporting economic growth in Aberdeen and the north east of Scotland and are excited for our move into the city centre.”
