RSE, a specialist in modular factory-produced water technology, has announced the opening of a new facility in Deephaven, Evanton, located within the Inverness & Cromarty Firth Green Freeport zone.

As part of this expansion, RSE revealed it has invested £1.2 million in advanced equipment to enhance production capabilities and support demand driven by the AMP8 investment from UK water companies.

The Deephaven facility will house equipment including a 3D robotic plasma cutting machine, which is said to reduce fabrication preparation time by 60%, minimise hand arm vibration, and enhance the quality of the cut and fabricated items.

The machine measures, cuts end connections, and can include slots, rat holes, weld preps, holes, and etch piece marks.

The site spans two acres and includes two workshops, each measuring 15m wide x 54m long and equipped with 10-tonne overhead cranes. The facility will play a crucial role in producing RSE’s M-CTU range of modules and the mobile MBBR (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor) treatment solutions.

Stephen Slessor, CEO of RSE, said, “We’re thrilled to bring this new facility to Deephaven, which represents a significant investment in the future of water technology. Not only does this expansion allow us to enhance our production capabilities, but it also brings new jobs and opportunities to the area. As we look towards the AMP8 investment from UK Water Companies, we’re committed to delivering innovative, high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of the industry.”
