MUIR Homes has announced the launch of its five-bedroom Iona showhome at the new West Path development in Pathhead, Midlothian, which comprises 43 properties in a mix of three, four, and five-bedrooms.
The Iona showhome has two en-suites as well as a family bathroom. The open plan kitchen and dining area stretches across the rear elevation with a ‘spacious’ lounge, utility room, WC and integral garage completing the downstairs.
The development is adjacent to Tynewater Primary School which was ranked as the best in Midlothian in 2023, according to The Times.
Fitted with solar PV panels on the roof and ducting for electric vehicle charging points, the homes at West Path are said to ‘surpass’ environmental standards. Homes will be available to move in from July 2024, with the site set for completion in December 2025.
Ash Sheik, sales and marketing director at Muir Homes, said, “Pathhead is a beautiful conservation village with excellent public transport links and only a short drive from Edinburgh. It is the perfect location for those looking for country living but work in the city.
“For over 50 years we have been building high quality homes for families across Scotland. Our West Path development is unique and our first in Midlothian. We are excited to be creating new sustainable homes that allow people to thrive and make a positive contribution to the local community.”
