LIVINGSTON-based John Heaney Electrical has announced the appointment of Garry Eggo as its new health and safety manager, following the retirement of Matt Bamford.
Bringing considerable experience to the mechanical and electrical services specialist, Garry most recently held a similar position at commercial groundworks and civil engineering firm, Carmichael and Baxter in Cupar. He also worked with INEOS at its Grangemouth refinery and ExxonMobile’s chemical plant at Mossmorran in Fife.
Garry said, “The first impressions of the company have been very good. It is really well run, well organised and there has been a great handover. I’m looking forward to adding value to the business. Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming and that has helped me settle in.”
John Heaney Electrical MD, Mark Heaney, added, “Garry has excellent credentials, interviewed well and was the stand out candidate through what was a thorough selection process.
“He will be a welcome addition to the team and as well as health and safety, he will be involved in quality assurance as well.”
