TRUST Housing Association has secured a £10 million loan from Royal Bank of Scotland to provide ‘affordable, energy efficient’ homes for tenants across Scotland.
The organisation provides social rent options and housing for those in later life as well as shared ownership and mid-market homes. Trust was first established in 1973 and has since grown to the point where it has a portfolio of over 3,700 properties across 23 local authority areas and over 700 staff members.
The funding deal will enable Trust to continue to invest in local communities through the provision of new build properties, as well as retrofitting existing homes.
