Cala unveils two new showhomes at Kirkintilloch site

Darroch

CALA Homes (West) has unveiled two new showhomes at its Weaver’s Brae development in Kirkintilloch.

The site, located off Market Road in Fauldhead, offers a collection of three, four, and five-bedroom homes.

Designed by Eileen Kesson of Envision Interior Design, both showhomes, the four-bedroom Brodick and the five-bedroom Darroch, are said to convey ‘contemporary living and high specification at its finest’.

The three-storey Brodick is a new homestyle within the west of Scotland after debuting at nearby Earl’s Rise in Stepps. The lounge and dining area, at the rear of the home, features a monochrome combination of chalk white and charcoal whilst introducing a ‘spark’ of red to warm and lift the room. A separate kitchen at the front of the home showcases one of Cala’s newest finishes in a soft matt milk white kitchen with slim matt black handles.

The first floor offers three bedrooms, one with an en-suite, and a family bathroom, with the main bedroom located on the top floor, complete with an en-suite and ‘spacious’ wardrobes. The space is described as ‘bright and airy, flooded with light’ thanks to the Keylite windows.

Meanwhile, the five-bedroom Darroch showhome features a formal lounge along with a kitchen, dining and family area to the rear of the home. Bi-fold doors open this room up into the garden.

On the first floor, there are five bedrooms, two with en-suite facilities, and a family bathroom. Bedroom five can also be transformed into an office.

Suzanne McElhiney, sales and marketing director at Cala Homes (West), said, “Weaver’s Brae is a stunning development thanks to its semi-rural environment, and with the introduction of our new Brodick housetype, this showcases the thought and consideration that’s gone into the homestyles we are offering. Spring is the perfect time for prospective buyers who are looking for a fresh start to think about making the move and the idyllic area of Fauldhead in Kirkintilloch is the perfect mix of rural living all whilst having the city on your doorstep.”
