GLASGOW-based Insite Cladding & Roofing has announced the retirement of commercial director Kevin Jennings after a near five-decade career in the roofing industry.
Kevin began his career as an apprentice at WG Walker in Edinburgh, quickly establishing himself as a skilled and dedicated professional. He later joined Mitie as a regional manager, where he honed his leadership skills.
In 2015, Kevin joined Insite Cladding & Roofing, where he played a ‘pivotal’ role in the company’s growth and success. As commercial director, he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of Insite’s commercial operations, including sales, and project management. Insite explained that he was also instrumental in securing major contracts, expanding the company’s client base, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
“Kevin has been an invaluable asset to Insite Cladding & Roofing for many years,” said MD Scott McMillan. “His dedication, expertise, and leadership have been instrumental in our success. We are grateful for his contributions and wish him all the best in his retirement.”
Insite added that Kevin is considered a ‘legend’ in the roofing industry, known for his ‘integrity, fairness, and collaborative approach’. He is a mentor to many and will be deeply missed by his colleagues within the business.
