Neil Johnston

REAL estate agency Cushman & Wakefield has announced two promotions and two new appointments within the company’s Scottish operation.

Neil Johnston and Adam Watt have been promoted to associate partners.

Based in Edinburgh, Neil Johnston works in the project management team and recently helped deliver the new office fit-out at 177 Bothwell Street on behalf of Evelyn Partners. He has been with the firm for over two years and previously ran his own business for 12 years.

Adam Watt has been a member of the office agency team for four years and is said to have enjoyed a successful year, completing the acquisition of space at Capital Square on behalf of Eversheds in 2022 and the letting of a full townhouse to Kaplan at 26 St Andrew Square for the company’s Edinburgh HQ. He is also involved in advising multi-national landlords on projects including Kennedy Wilson at Waverleygate and Parabola at 1 New Park Square, Edinburgh Park.

Now working alongside Neil is recent recruit Greg Sprakel, who joins the business as a project manager following a spell with Currie & Brown.

A further recruit, Michael Sinclair, has joined as an associate surveyor in the ratings team to support existing partner, Paul Lejkowski, with implementation of the new rating changes that were introduced in April and assisting clients on navigating those changes and forthcoming appeals. Michael has worked in the business rating sector for the past four years.

Murray Strang, managing partner, Scotland at Cushman & Wakefield, said, “Neil and Adam have been involved in significant projects for the business in the last year and represent a strong foundation for future leadership within the Cushman & Wakefield business. Both thoroughly deserve recognition through these promotions. We are delighted to also welcome Greg and Michael to their respective teams where we see considerable potential for growth in each service line.”
