THE Procast Group has acquired renewables consultancy Thermsaver Heating Solutions to improve its offering and quality of decarbonisation solutions for clients.
Thermsaver, based in Bellshill, and Procast, based in Hamilton, have already worked in partnership on the delivery of a number of projects across central Scotland.
Established in 1985 by Graham Curtis, Thermsaver designs bespoke renewable heating solutions, particularly air source heat pumps, ground source heat pumps, and biomass communal/district heating systems.
Derek Innes, Procast MD, said, “Thermsaver will benefit the entire Procast Group and will help us continue our growth as market leaders in the decarbonisation sector, with the ability to offer a full turnkey solution to all our partners. With Thermsaver’s experience within the larger district heating sector, along with their ever-growing research and development department looking at numerous product innovations, we feel that this is a perfect addition and will assist with future-proofing the business and offering our clients the very best decarbonisation solutions.
“We feel that this acquisition will not only benefit our clients but will give us full control over our design capabilities within the ever-changing renewables industry and allow us to continue to work in collaboration with our key clients to achieve their net zero targets.”
