GLASGOW-based utilities management specilaist eyebright has revealed it expects revenue to more than double in the next three years.
Established in 2009, the consultancy advises clients on how to minimise energy overheads while strengthening sustainability credentials. In the last 24 months, the firm said it has saved customers including SMEs and multi-site PLCs £83 million through procurement strategies.
To support its expansion strategy, Tim Partridge has been appointed director of energy markets. With more than 20 years’ experience, including time spent at SSE and E.On, the move is designed to strengthen eyebright’s ability to innovate products for large energy consuming businesses by giving them access to wholesale markets.
MD Jamie Newall said, “We are planning for huge growth and with that has come some important new team updates. Tim is a recognised expert industry commentator with a strong analytical understanding of the energy market and excellent relationships with suppliers.
“His addition to our rapidly expanding team is a real coup and allows us to provide further support to organisations with a complex range of procurement and management needs. These are exciting times for the business as we continue delivering the best solutions available for our customers.”
Through a sustainable energy management strategy, eyebright expects to remove over 19 million tons of C02e from the environment over the next three years. The business predicts its headcount to double during that period, having already expanded its water auditing, climate change levy and energy procurement divisions.
Tim Partridge said, “The company has grown from strength to strength, and there are huge opportunities going forward. I hope my industry experience will provide clients with additional support, market intelligence and enhance the range of services we offer.”
To further support growth plans, eyebright has also appointed Chris Quinn as commercial director and promoted Jon Reeves to head of energy solutions and Jo Buckley to head of supplier relationships.
