Stantec acquires Barton Willmore

STANTEC has has acquired planning and design consultancy, Barton Willmore, in a deal advised on by the GS Verde Group.

The international engineering, design and project management firm said that the purchase ‘underpins’ its strategic growth plans and enhances its offering of ‘innovative’ master planning and urban design solutions.

Barton Willmore has offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh, as well as London, Cardiff, Birmingham and other regional sites. Over 2,500 Barton Willmore partners will join Stantec as a result of the deal.
