Developer hails progress of Cambuslang housing project

CCG Homes has announced that over 55% of all properties at a new private housing development in Cambuslang are now reserved or sold.

Western Terrace comprises 81 two and three-bedroom terraced and semi-detached properties. CCG Homes said they have been designed to be spacious and have light throughout, while enhanced energy performance, complemented by solar PV panels, will help generate savings on energy bills.

CCG Homes MD, Calum Murray, said, “To have sold over 55% of Western Terrace in just over seven months is a remarkable achievement and I extend my sincere thanks to everyone who has purchased with us to date. Over two-thirds of our purchasers are buying a home for the first time and we have a wonderful mix of first time buyers,  families and downsizers who will each contribute greatly to this newly created neighbourhood and the wider local economy of Cambuslang.

“The efforts of our sales and construction teams are to be greatly commended; they have helped us to deliver high-quality homes as well as excellent levels of customer service and I am delighted that we have been able to welcome our first homeowners this spring. I look forward to seeing how the development progresses over the course of this year.”

CCG Homes will also soon be launching the Calderwood Lodge development. Formerly the site of Calderwood Lodge Primary School, 20 luxury two-and-three-bedroom homes are to be created in Newlands in Glasgow’s southside. The developer will also bring over 120 homes to the market in the autumn with two, three, and four-bedroom properties in Glasgow’s east end.
