THE RICS has created a LinkedIn Group which focuses on bringing together like-minded professionals who recognise the benefits of working collaboratively to avoid conflict and manage disputes at an early stage.
Dispute resolution specialist Len Bunton, who is chair of a working group of Scottish construction stakeholders seeking to encourage greater use of conflict avoidance processes, said many in the group will have been invited because they signed the Conflict Avoidance Pledge (CAP) but it also an open group for those who are interested in CAP and those who wish to sign the Pledge in the future.
This group has been created  on behalf of the CAP Coalition. The community link is Conflict Avoidance Community | Groups | LinkedIn . The RICS  hopes this group will enable them to communicate directly with the Pledge signatories quickly and easily and also build a strong community of professionals who can communicate with and support each other.
