Housebuilder extends Ness Castle offering in Inverness

BARRATT Homes has revealed plans to extend its offering at the Ness Castle development in Inverness by adding six apartments following a ‘spike’ in interest.

The new two-bedroom properties will add to the existing community at the Mey Avenue development, three miles from the city centre. The homes will bring the total number of properties at the development to 499.

David Palmer, MD for Barratt and David Wilson Homes North Scotland, said the expansion will help meet the demand for ‘high-quality, affordable homes’ in the suburbs.

He explained, “We’re seeing more and more people move from the city to the suburbs in pursuit of a lifestyle change. This trend is continuing to drive demand for new homes in more rural areas.

“The expansion at Ness Castle will allow us to bring even more high-quality homes to Inverness. They are a great choice for first-time buyers, downsizers and young professionals who are looking for a modern home with the benefits of both city and outdoor living on their doorstep.”

The six new apartments are due for completion in April with an expected summer move in date.
