Multi-utility works underway at Kilmarnock amenity housing project

ARC-Tech MU has announced it has started works at a new amenity housing development in Kilmarnock.

The multi-utilities provider revealed the Witch Road/ Witchhill Place site will comprise 43 one and two-bedroom bungalows for affordable rent which have been specially designed to support older, ambulant residents.

The development will be one of three undertaken by the firm alongside main contractor, CCG (Scotland), in East Ayrshire on behalf of East Ayrshire Council.

Gas, water and electrical services will form part of a works programme that will bring the project to completion in late 2022.

Josh Martin, Arc-Tech MU MD, said, “We are delighted to be supporting the delivery of a development that will provide much-needed affordable homes for older people in Kilmarnock. East Ayrshire Council have an ambitious housebuilding programme and we acknowledge the strong partnership that has been developed with the CCG Group over many years.

“As a proud member of this group, we will ensure that our workmanship and customer service will be delivered to highest quality standard and we look forward to bringing all three of our projects forward over the course of this year.”
