For two years, MGF’s Livingston depot has been providing excavation safety solutions to customers across Scotland.

Ideally located in the central belt, MGF’s depot is able to support the growing needs of the northern UK construction industry by offering national service to Scotland with the support of the other 13 MGF locations and 40 years experience.

Cairns Gibson, Regional Manager for Scotland and North East England commented: “It’s great to now have a sales team in Livingston, supported by our Regional Engineer. We have been servicing the country for nearly two years now to great success and we hope that the team continues to do MGF justice in Scotland.”

Billy McCormick, Lead Engineer

Always showing passion for good customer service, relationship building and presenting customers with safe efficient designs in a timely manner.

Billy comments: “It’s exciting to be part of something new and a great chance to contribute to the growing success of the business in Scotland. I’m looking forward to working with the current team and building a strong local design team to offer MGF’s excellent service and reputation to new clients in Scotland.”

With 17 years sales experience and eight years solely in ground shoring and temporary works, Brian Chambers was drawn to the shoring industry with a feeling he was suited to the nature of it. In 2014 he joined an extremely small team to start a new independent shoring hire company and grew it from the ground up to in 2018 seeing a buy out take over. This experience enabled him to continue learning, day on day, whilst gaining vital product and market knowledge.

Speaking on joining MGF he said: “In February 2021, to further advance my career and knowledge I decided to join MGF who had started to show just how professional they are in Scotland. MGF know what teamwork is and the common focus we have to make sure we can offer the full professional solution to our constantly expanding customer base so that our customers project is handled.”

Speaking on what he looks forward to in the future he said: “Excited to be part of such a great and forward thinking company and being able to promote the benefits of UniShore and sell MGF as a solutions provider to our customers.

“It’s a great challenge to be involved in building and growing the Structural Support business in Scotland and Northern England. The experience, skills and knowledge that was already at MGF has been complimented with recent additions and together we can all move MGF forward and continue to create safe working environments for our customers.”
