Maxi to deliver West Lothian College improvement works

MAXI Construction has landed a contract to deliver alteration and student-focused improvement works to West Lothian College in Livingston.

This is the company’s second contract award via the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Construction Works and Associated Services Framework.

The works include a new glass and steel front entrance to Building 1; creation of an electrical workshop; creation of a digital health suite; and creation of a self-contained area for the access, schools and employability team.

John Aitchison, Maxi Construction’s MD, said, “We are delighted to return to West Lothian College and to continue our working relationship with the client and project team in the provision of improved facilities for the college and students.”

The project team includes contracts administrator/project manager Campbell Martin Associates, architect McGinlay Bell, and structural engineer Indev Consult Ltd.

Maxi Construction is appointed to Lot 1.1.4 of the CCS Construction Works Framework for Building Works and Minor Associated Civil Engineering Works and Services up to £3 million throughout Scotland.
