BARRHEAD Housing Association has welcomed the first tenants to its new affordable homes, built by Bellway, at Rosemont Park in the East Renfrewshire town.

The two organisations collaborated to build ten properties, with support from East Renfrewshire Council, as part of a new community of homes on Blackbyres Road. The Scottish Government provided over £784,000 in funding support to Barrhead Housing Association.

The social rented properties include four three-bedroom end terrace homes, four, two-bedroom mid terrace properties, and two larger three-bedroom semi-detached homes.

Pauline Coates, sales director, Bellway Homes Limited (Scotland West), said, “Rosemont Park has been one of our most popular sites and with its terrific location and proximity to a variety of amenities it’s easy to see why. We’re delighted that our new residents have settled in and it’s been an extremely positive partnership with Barrhead HA to create these new homes in the community.”
