‘First of its type’ show home unveiled at Tornagrain

PLACES for People has unveiled its new four-bedroom detached show home at Tornagrain – the newest town in the Highlands.

Located eight miles east of Inverness, the Kerrowaid show home is described as the first of its type in Scotland.

The Tornagrain development will comprise a mix of apartments and two, three and four-bedroom country homes.

The Kerrowaid has been inspired by interior designer Kiran Bhatia from New i.d. Period features have been incorporated, including tapestry inspired wallpaper and wood panelling.

Allison Sutherland, regional sales and marketing director for Places for People in Scotland, said, “It’s been an exciting time for the team to transform a second show home at Tornagrain, which delivers a fresh look and feel. The development and house types complement the local area and have taken its design influences from the Scottish vernacular.

“The homes benefit from the traditional Scottish period look with the use of heritage colours, iconic design door surround complemented by the wet dash render. There’s also traditional slated roof and sash and case windows to main elevations.”
