Plans submitted for 44 new affordable homes in Leslie, Fife

A detailed planning application has been submitted for the delivery of 44 new affordable homes in Leslie, Fife.

The proposals have been brought forward by Kingdom Housing Association in collaboration with delivery partner Campion Homes, with plans detailing a mix of house types for social rent on the north-western edge of the village.

The scheme has been developed as a collaboration between Fraser/Livingstone Architects, horner+maclennan landscape architects, and Dryburgh Associates.

Kingdom explained that the properties will be set around a ‘placemaking ethos’ with ‘patterns of gathering, sunshine and permeability’. A new central square lies at the heart of the plans, with links to open amenity space offering play areas, allotments and an orchard.
