Finalists revealed for Scottish Home Awards 2021

Caerlee Mill

FINALISTS have been announced for this year’s Scottish Home Awards.

The winners of all 18 categories will be revealed at the awards dinner in Glasgow, hosted by Des Clarke, on 16 September at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel. A live digital broadcast will also be presented.

Edinburgh-based property developers, Whiteburn, has been shortlisted in the Small Housing Development of the Year category for phase one of its Caerlee Mill development in Innerleithen. MD Eve McCurrich said, “It’s great to be shortlisted in such a prestigious category in this year’s Scottish Home Awards. We’ve had phenomenal interest in the homes that we have built at Caerlee Mill, and I am delighted we are finally looking forward to our final homeowner moving in later this year.”

Caledonia Housing Association is also celebrating after being nominated for awards in two categories – Housing Association of the Year and Social Housing Developer of the Year. Andrew Kilpatrick, director of assets at Caledonia Housing Association, said, “Everyone at Caledonia Housing Association is thrilled about making it to the finals of this prestigious national competition. To be nominated at any time is an achievement, but to do so when our operations were impacted by Covid-19 is a real testament to all of our dedicated staff who have worked tremendously hard to continue to make a difference.”
