THE JR Group has secured a contract to deliver 49 new homes in Kirkcaldy on behalf of Fife Housing Group.
The Paisley-based construction firm has been appointed build contractor for the Glen Albyn project, with work due to start this summer. Partners on the project include architect Oliver & Robb, employer’s agent, Hardies and engineer, Bayne Stevenson Associates.
Craig Whyte, commercial director at The JR Group, said, “It is great to have won the contract to take this exciting new project forward. The JR Group is making its regional debut on this project as it is the first time we have taken on a project in Fife, so we’re very much looking forward to getting started this summer and delivering new housing in the area. This marks our first project for Fife Housing Group and we’re delighted to be working together. We look forward to developing a successful working relationship with them.”
Nicki Donaldson, Fife Housing Group’s chief executive, added, “Our Glen Albyn project has been in the pipeline for quite some time and we are delighted that we are now in a position to move this forward, working with The JR Group for the first time to deliver much-needed two and three bedroom homes in the Kirkcaldy area.”
