COMMERCIAL property consultancy Knight Frank has appointed Scott Hogan to lead its industrial and logistics practice in Scotland.
Currently based in Aberdeen, Scott will re-locate to the central belt to take up the newly created role as the sector experiences a ‘boom’ in activity driven by the shift towards online retail. He will work with Knight Frank’s teams in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Scott joined Knight Frank six years ago and has headed up its industrial and logistics offering in Aberdeen for the past three years. Among his recent deals is the 43,500 sq. ft. letting to FedEx at the refurbished Aberdeen One logistics park, owned by Titan Investors.
Alasdair Steele, head of Scotland commercial at Knight Frank, said, “Scott’s appointment is a reflection of the great work he has done in Aberdeen and the opportunity that currently exists in the industrial and logistics market across Scotland. We have a lot of individual expertise in the sector in our Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Aberdeen offices, but Scott’s new role formalises our offering throughout them all and adds another service to our capital markets, office agency, building consultancy, valuations and property management specialisms.”
