EXCAVATION safety solutions specialist MGF has opened its first depot in Scotland to support customers north of the border.
Based in Livingston’s Houstoun Industrial Estate, the 3.5-acre site is the company’s eleventh depot in total, with the firm saying it will ‘support the growing needs of the UK construction industry, offering a national service with the support of the MGF hire network, manufacturing and temporary works engineering facilities’.
The depot is currently open to trade, and will be fully operational in January 2020.
Regional director Kevin Clarke said, “We have been serving Scotland through our north east – Durham depot for 23 years, but I’m thrilled that we have opened a depot in Scotland as it will allow us to improve and strengthen our offering to our Scottish customers on a regional basis.”
