EFP Group, comprising Engineered Foam Products and Springvale EPS, has completed the acquisition of Cordek Ltd, a specialist in the manufacture of technical solutions for the construction industry.
Cordek was founded in 1973 and is based in Slinfold, West Sussex. The business is known within the civil engineering sector for its ground engineering products such as Cellcore and Filcor and bespoke infrastructure and superstructure formwork. The acquisition of Cambrian Engineering in 2024 enabled Cordek to strengthen its market offering by providing a consolidated supply solution of bespoke formwork, patterns, moulds and architectural features in engineered wood.
The move marks the second acquisition completed by the EFP Group in the past two years following the addition of Springvale EPS in 2024 and marks the solidification of a long-standing commercial relationship between the two businesses, with EFP having supplied expanded polystyrene to Cordek over many years.
Cordek will continue operating under its brand, ensuring continuity for customers, suppliers and employees.
