MARTIN McColl has been appointed operations director at akp Scotland.
He joins from Ceramic Group Holdings, where he was director of its shopfitting business. Martin previously represented akp from 2007-2012 when he was responsible for construction and specialist support functions. His new role will see him tasked with responsibility for the operational activities of the business, the site teams currently in place as well as overseeing the company’s wider strategic subcontract and supply chain partners.
Martin will join akp MD Ian McEwan and director Martin Rowley at a time when the business is due to commence celebrating its 30th year trading in 2020.

His experience and qualifications place him in the perfect position to offer strong operational direction to the already highly capable team we have in place. We look forward to him helping us take our operational activities to new levels, whilst bringing a valuable fresh perspective to our business improvement agenda.”
