THE roofing sector is heading for Edinburgh later this month for the 67th IFD (International Federation for the Roofing Trade) Congress & Awards.
Representatives from trade federations, contractors, manufacturers and consultants are expected to attend the event, which will feature an exhibition and evening of networking organised by the NFRC.
Co-located at Edinburgh’s Radisson Blu Hotel, which is hosting the Congress, the ‘Congress Exhibition’ will be held on 26-27 September and showcase the roofing products and services the UK has to offer to an international audience.
The Traditional Evening will give guests access to Edinburgh Castle, where they can network and enjoy entertainment. Guests will include senior industry figures, representing both private contractors and federations.
James Talman, NFRC chief Executive said, “As the UK’s largest roofing federation across all disciplines, NFRC is passionate about promoting UK roofing to the rest of the world. As the UK renegotiates its trading relations following the vote to leave the EU, this is a rare opportunity for companies looking to enter new markets and to re-establish themselves in existing ones, to meet senior decision-makers from EU countries China and the US.”
