TJ Ross, a traditional joinery firm founded over 40 years ago in Fife, has just completed a project for the Royal Hotel in Comrie, Perthshire.
The firm, which employs 37 people and is run by a father and son, was tasked with manufacturing, supplying and fitting a range of timber replacement double-glazed sash and case windows for the hotel, which is set in the middle of the busy country village.
The firm designs replacement hardwood windows crafted in the traditional way, blending ‘age-old hand craftsmanship’ with ‘modern performance specifications’. The company, which opened a new showroom in Edinburgh last year, also makes bespoke doors.
MD Martin Richardson said, “We also offer a large range of CPD subjects on all aspects of traditional joinery manufacturing to architects, either in their studios or ours in the centre of Edinburgh.”
