CCG has concluded a multi-year fire door replacement programme for South Lanarkshire Council, which has seen 4,000 door sets installed across 1,700 residences and 20 high-rise apartment blocks.
The £10 million supply-and-fit contract started in late-2022, with upgrades delivered to properties in Cambuslang, East Kilbride, Rutherglen, and Hamilton.
Each phase benefited from a manufacturing and installation process led entirely by CCG’s in-house divisions.
CCG Manufacturing, which operates across three window and door fabrication hubs in Cambuslang, completed each engineered timber door set, inclusive of the leaf and frame, before leaving the factory floor.
The full extent of CCG’s Q-Mark and Secured by Design-certified FD60 product offering was deployed across each phase of the programme, including accessible main entrance, common passage and store, and flat entrance styles, each offering up to 60 minutes of fire resistance and measures to prevent the passage of smoke during an emergency.

The programme was procured through the Scottish Procurement Alliance.
